w210 e55 1999 problem
Hi, I own MB E55 AMG W210 from 99 my problem is that when I put the key in eis you can hear esl unlocks and you can turn the key, but when you try to start you only hear one klick from the starter and if you is try like that few times than it starts and diee after 2 seconds. Messege on the dash is BAS , ESP , ABS. Would be grateful if anyone could help me whit this issus. I only got one key...
Whould it help if i reprogram it?

probably not the key if it was im sure the car would not crank at all it could be a crank,cam,knock sensor issue i would have said starter but u said the car turns over then cuts off so chances are its not a starter,battery or alternator problem if u have access to a OBD2 scanner i would see if it kicks any codes. I would also check fuel pressure,pump,filter injectors. Hope that helps good luck.

Exactly. How do you know it's not the battery, because it sounds like it is? If you go to a place like Autozone, they will normally test the voltage during cranking and get you a fresh battery to test as well, for free. I bet if you get jumper cables and jump it, it will start right up, which also would indicate battery.

I tryed with a new one from the other car.
if it starts then it dies in 2 sec and i got the messege BAS then ESP , ABS
Read the fault codes and got this p1570 Fault in DAS to engine control
module
When i try to start sometimes i hear the fuel pump, sometimes i dont, could it be a bed crankshaft sensor i heard?
That if you have bad one then you will not have any fuel pressure. I even tryed to press the fuelreley manually than the fuelpump runs but it dies anyway after 2 sec.
Thay dont got Autozone in Sweden.
