Door lock problem
When I press unlock on my remote or dash board the rear driver side doesnt want to unlock. I can see the knob wants to go up but it doesnt want to go all the way up. I manually lift the knob up if i want to unlock the door and once the car goes it automatically locks up. Any ideas whats causing the problem? Thanks for all your help.

I had a similar issue and it turned out to be a severed air line. I removed the door skin and there it was. I used some heat shrink and super glue to repair it. It has been over 1.5 years and it is still working great.
Can you hear your air pump in the trunk continuously running?

I think he'd notice if the pump is running all the time. In my E55, there's no mistaking when the pump is running.

Going through this right now..
This happened when my son was pulling on the handle (Passenger side rear door) while I was unlocking the car with the fob. Ever since then, I can hear the doors unlock first, then the gas cap, then the trunk. It is a PIA. Giving the car to my brother and he has also ordered an actuator. I will follow up with the progress....
