i picked up a 2001 E55 a few months ago. It was metallic grey with reb/black interior. It had 46K miles on it. I paid $15K. This being the case, I would asy $18K is a fair price. Maybe slightly lower. I had to negotiate a bit to get the car for $15K. It also had dead pixels which need to get fixed but other than that, is pretty solid with all service done at the right time etc.

E55 210
Thanks for the condolences. I really will miss the car, but as you can see for a 2001 with only 28,495 miles, It was barely driven. Now that my dad has passed, It deserves to be with someone that will appreciate her.
Sorry for your loss - and if the car helps with the coping, by all means stick with it.
For me I had my shares of rides. I started with a Toyota Supra, to My Bro's DB9, however my all time favorite was this E55. I'm the youngest of the family and when I finally saved enough for her (on my own with no help) My dad was really proud of me. He loved that fact that it was comfortable to get in and out than the Aston..
I know I'm going to get a lot of slaps for this, but I am fine with this Honda that I have now.
Now that the car is sold (the sale has help pay off my mortgage) I can enjoy life now with little to no pressures (middle finger to Wells Fargo).
Thanks to this forum my car has turn up a person that truly appreciates the AMG heritage...
Thanks again.

Thanks my man, Hey whatever you feel is the right thing to do more power to you. All i know is before my mom passed i was willing to give up my house, car, whatever it took to get her better. To bad she didn't have anything left in her she was fighting cancer for 16 yrs. She passed 12-29-2011.
So i know what you mean when you say these "things are not a priority" cars can be replaced only get one mom & dad hope things get better for you as they do for me to hopefully.

Sinbull, thanks again for everything yesterday! You truly lived up to your word. The car is completely perfect. I fully enjoyed driving it home yesterday back to Virginia. Believe me, I will take great care of her and she is in good hands. Thank You!
