This was one of the last cars that I did while up there, and I was a bit excited, so I forgot to take some before pictures of it. The owner of this white Subaru STI wagon / hatch brought his car to me to have me vinyl wrap the roof of his car with my gloss black vinyl material. Subarus are one of those cars that can pull off the matte or gloss black look. Since there is no sunroof on this car, it gives it a very smooth and continuous result / look.

This second car is quite a bit different from most of the standard set of cars that I am used to having come by. I believe this was something like a 1992 black Acura Legend. The owner of this car wanted me to vinyl wrap the roof of his car with the 3M di-noc matte carbon fiber vinyl material. The roof had some slight paint imperfections/oxidation, and he wanted me to cover over those and also provide a slight change in the look of the car at the same time (originally we were just going to wrap the roof in gloss black). I took these pictures during overcast, so you can't see much details in the weave. However, this kind of provides you guys with an idea of how the vinyl material looks like in low lighting. From further away it looks more matte/flat and then as you get closer you start to see the weaves.

I worked on this car when I was up in norcal / Bay Area last time. This grey / silver Mercedes Benz came by to have me wrap the chrome / brushed aluminum window trim and rear trunk handle piece with my gloss black vinyl material. In addition to the window trim, I also tinted / smoked the tail lights lightly with my film specifically made/designed for use on exteriors. The lighting kind of makes it hard to really notice the gloss finish on the window trim, but hopefully you can still make it out and get an idea of how it looks like.

Just for fun, to see how the car would have looked like if it had a glass sunroof:

Here is a silver E92 328i coupe that I blacked out the chrome / brushed aluminum window trim with my matte black vinyl material. The car was relatively stock, but getting rid of the chrome still made a big difference on the overall look of the car. We went with the matte black over the gloss black to match the other matte pieces that were already around the window trim. The owner of this car drove out to me from around Long beach to Anaheim Hills.
