So I was installing my lower springs on my 1999 E55 and noticed that there is some sort of lever type sensor on the passenger side lower control arm. The metal arm goes into the engine bay were there is a couple wire sensor. The car has factory gas shocks and I don't think the headlights are self adjusting. Anyone know?

Is there away to ensure they are working mine seem to be pointed low.

 

Also found on non AMGs with Xenons, like my car for instance.
