1999 E55 AMG caliper question ?
My front calipers are AMG engraved , the Rear are not. Is that how the E55 came ? T I A

Yes mate 
front ones comes with the AMG engraved on it rear's not but all made by ATE (font/rear/pump/booster/rear discs) & SHW front discs
I think the same of you "why not amg engraved in the rears"? the E39 M5 comes with the same ate calipers and comes with the ///M engraved up front and rear

Hahaha. I tell you something, i buy a new front discs oem L/R the last month to my car for 150$ each.
hahahahaha i know the price is crazy, but some dealer here has the set by 5 years and no sold yet, the guy sold it to me at this price 
they are waiting in my house to replace the factory ones in my car when its needed

Ya Fab! Where are you again? Europe right? put it your sig broThe thing w/our AMG brakes if you do buy aftermarket they won't last as long as many members tried that route to only be disappointed and spend more money on OEM. Sux but no cheap way out- Autohaus has them at $232 w/free shipping.
If you find them cheaper let me know I need to get a set as well. Mine are somewhat warped but not to bad but needs to be replaced soon.

Hahahhaaha nooooo i'm not living europe, i'm in the 3th world country, i live in venezuela (with the As$&$/, M%$#% F#$("$ president here).. 
we find some good prices in the dealers here cause they have lots of parts in stock with very old prices

Gas here?? is more cheap than the water
is stupid the price but we have really poor quality on the gasoline here, buuuuttt.. the price is incredible, one gallon here cost 0.04BsF = 0.004$ or so like that Other words: I fill my e55 Full tank with 6.5 BsF = 0.65$
I programm my car with the star diag in full rich mode, running on no cats + resonator deleat + kleemann headers + BMC's we no have here any regulation to alter our cars.. Chep gas? Yes, but this country runs lke shat with this government

A number so small, that it is hard to relate to. Try 8.5 cents a gallon
If gas was that cheap here I would have about $400 more each month in my pocket instead of my gas tank...

srry for the offtopic but damn crazy prices. I pay about 105/110 euro per tank that would be around 130 dollar lol. I fill it up 3/5 times a month damn life is expensive ;p

Yes we have here the lowest gas price in the wooorrrllddd! ****ing crazy. about the exchange money rate we have here the 4.3BsF =1$. but his MF president implement a exhange money control 8 yrs ago.. (we can't change BsF to any other money legally) this way we have a paralel price (ilegal or personal money change) rounding 10BsF per usd :S
