Where to start? The Italians or the Germans?
2002 E55 Dynojet baseline

Figured I'd post up my dyno results. Came out better than I was expecting. Car has 157,000KM at time of dyno. Work performed: plugs, filters, fluids, tranny/ECU reset. Traction control/ABS were unplugged for the dyno. Ignore the small spike at 4400rpm. Air temp was about 30C at time of dyno with low humidity.

Cheers,
Ricky

I figured about a 20% drivetrain loss plus some for the age, so around 280hp and 290tq. I am quite pleased to see it's a strong engine. Pretty healthy.

We aren't sure. Something doing something is a far bet.

The car did not have any anomalies during the pull at that rpm--it only showed that odd peak on the graph.

looks good. I dyno'ed freaking 297 hp WITH my headers and ecu flash. I had some really heavy 19s though. Do you think that is the sole cause of my low numbers? I saved 49 lbs between the 4 wheels after I put the stockers back on.

I don't think AMG would leave easy HP on the table with those stock manifolds. I personally think only longtubes really make a difference at stock HP levels.

Are you insinuating that $400 headers don't give me the claimed 50hp gain?! I'm glad you came out and said it so I can jump on the ship and cry wolf as well.

Take note of this guys: you want power, it's going to cost you.
