00-02: facelift body style
02: rated 355hp instead of 349hp on the rest of the years. The injectors were updates somewhere in between. Otherwise they're pretty much the same.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
More than that....
Touch shift tranny, better radio/hi-fi, better steering wheel with controls, body improvements are substantial. Build quality in my opinion is also far better....but RUST is still the enemy.
