Instrument Pixel Fix - Sold
Is anyone interested in purchasing a ribbon/cable kit?
I purchased a kit, and the seller sent two kits by mistake. Sent from China.

Here is a link for DIY: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w208...el-fix-10.html
I sucessfully repaired my instrument cluster. I just wanted to offer my extra kit to someone intersted. I'll send from FL so you don't have to wait the 10 buisiness days, nor chance the international payment process.

I'll take them. How much with shipping to 94521? I'm in no hurry, so slow/cheap works.
I take it that the email address you posted is the one you use for Paypal?

Thanks for the useful information on repairing these dim cluster and non working LED lights. I'll definately give it a try on repairing the temp and clock LED myself. The light comes on every once in a while on the temp guage but the clock looks like its been half faded since I got the car. Looks easy enough but will have to find a nice warm day to do this.

Snooozie: No problem. This repair was very straight forward. I had no trouble what so ever. With that being said, I can see how someone might be apprehensive to try this DIY.
I would not hesitate to recommend for anyone to do this. Fairy easy for the mechanically inclined.

I do not think that this kit will work for the climate control on your W202.

Just an update.
My roommate (who works at an indie) swapped these in today and everything works now. After doing it, he's decided they'll do this in house now instead of sending the parts out to have it done.

Nice updates on how to fix this pesky issue. I have done the foam hack and got the temp gauge working but the P one not so much time is also a bit fuzzy.
This MOD seems/looks a little tougher to do and this coming from a Tech guy...
