Track day
Took the E55 to the track today.
What a blast. I usually take my 2004 Mini cooper S.
I wanted to see what my limits were driving the E55.
And for the record, I can get no where near what that car is capable of.
What a beast.
It's all stock except for resonator delete and hawk ceramic pads.
I was on high performance all seasons.
Def need a track tire setup and the stock amg pads the next time.
The hawks never faded but they didn't inspire confidence either.
My buddies GTI is stock, the 350z is twin turbo, around 450hp

If you ever get chance, do it!
I feel so much more confident driving the car hard now.

Thanx for the compliment!
The hawks are fine for the street. Very little dust.
They do take more pedal though.
I will def go back to the stock AMG pads though.
I'd rather have the excellent brake feel and stopping power than no dust.

I'll tell you : the 250$ a pop rotors.
I don't care what people tell me...IMO the more brake dust the better...that means my expensive rotors will last longer. Pads are cheap.
