Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy e55. The one I found was 1999 e55. Looks great, clean inside and out.
My concern is the year - pre facelif, and the mileage - 180K. It's on a dealership, and has a clean CarFax. The last owner had it for 8 years, from 70k - 180K miles.
What's should I consider buying this one? What should I look for at this mileage?
There's also another 1999 e55 with 108K miles, but it's asking twice the price of the high mileage one. Any input would be appreciated.

Where are you located and what's your approximate budget?
Also,any more info about the cars you're looking at? Price?

I'm in Dallas, the high mileage one is asking 5k, the other one is asking 9K

Ok,5K sounds like a good price. I know it has 180K,but these engines can get you a lot more. I would think it's a fair deal as long as the car checks out regarding maintenance.
