Lack of power
A strange thing happened today, accelerating from a stop light is super sluggish, pressing down on the pedal almost all the way and the car accelerates super slow, then picks up somewhat but feels 200hp down on power. After restart it woke up again, but still feels a bit underpowered.

Mass air sensor, buy a new one, get rid of K&Ns if you have them and replace with AFE ProDryS filters and pour two cans of Seafoam in the gas tank and run the **** out of the car. That should clear out everything
Usually bad CPS is only common on W202 C36 and C43 AMG. Symptoms are the car will die when it's hot and will not restart until engine cools down again (bad CPS very heat sensitive). With that said new CPS is dirt cheap and easy to replace so its not a bad idea to do it anyways while you are swapping out air filters. Mite rare for a coil or spark plug to go out on the w210 e55 engines, but if you are still running on the originals they are over a decade old. If you decide to do plugs and coils, don't be cheap and replace one.... Do the FULL SET.
My money is on MAF, as I have felt those symptoms many times before and usually you will get those symptoms without CEL until it gets REALLY bad.

I just had the throttle body and MAF cleaned , seems to do the trick , I'll be sure tomorrow on my 43 mile trip to work.
