Looking for 18" AMG Monoblocks

Hi

I have a set of chrome 18" mono block 2 and am either looking to update a few of them (rear) or get a whole new set of painted rims. Anyone know of any for sale? Rob

I have a set that I just removed on Monday. I mounted a new (refurbished) set of Monoblocks and tires.

When I purchased my car 3 months ago I knew I couldn't live with the wheels because of curb rash and other defects. They are the OE Monoblocks and they are straight.

My plan was/is to have them refurbished and either hold on to them or sell them if someone wanted them badly enough.

If you are looking for a perfect set these aren't for you. If you are interested let me know.

I'm fine keeping them and getting them refurbished for a back up set.

18" monoblocks

Can you shoot some pictures of them and a ball park price?

Yes, I'm planning on getting the tires and wheels separated tomorrow and will take some pics.

Rbalancia,

I had the old tires and wheels separated this morning and took some pics.

Honestly, I don't think they are fit to go on your car (or any other car). I have no idea how the previous owner(s) managed to do this on all four wheels. They are really ugly, more so in person than in these pics. The curb rash is really nasty.

I haven't had a chance to do any research on pricing. I obviously know what refurbished wheels go for since I just purchased a set. So I would have to figure out the value of wheels in my condition and also find out the cost of refurbishing them to determine if it is worth refinishing them or selling as is.

If you are still interested after seeing the pictures let me know. It will probably take me a while to do the needed research so by all means keep looking for a decent set. I will let you know if I see any decent looking sets available.

Thanks,

ddb

A few guys here in CT said 150-200 each for the refurb. The curb rash is not so nice but the finish of the wheels looks pretty good. Are they straight?

Help an e55 brother out with a really good price.

pcarguy,

I still have them. I sent Rbalancia a PM but I haven't heard from him. I'm not sure if that means he's not interested or he just hasn't had a chance to get back to me. Hopefully he will see this and let me know one way or another.

If he's not interested I will let you know.

Thanks,

ddb
