EZ Lip
Guys, since I couldn't get hold of a carbon fiber lip, I found a quick fix to my solution. I bought this rubber stripe called EZ Lip on eBay and it looks very nice. Just pull the sticky tape apart and attached the rubber lip at the bottom of the car. No screws needed. I'll see how long it will last in the hash New England weather. I figure I might just get a few copper or stainless screws from Home Depot and screw them in if it start to peel.

It would probably take less than day before that got destroyed by a driveway in my car. 
Do you still have the H&R's installed? It looks like it's at stock height.

The write up said it is very durable and flexible. It will bend back if you hit a parking curb. My worry is the sticky tape coming loose. I hate to have part of it hanging down while I am driving and get destroyed running over it. I think I might get some screws and hold it better, just in case.
Yeah, I have the same thought after putting the H&R springs in. The front looks way too high. I have a set of #2 pads waiting to be put in. I guess the original pads are either #4 or #5. I'll have to do that next weekend and see how it looks. When all else fail, I'll cut the springs

Nooooo waayyyy! i have one e55 W211 carbon lip in the shop and i try it in my car and does not fit at all :S from wich car is this lip? looks good imo. The w211 lip is to shotr in the sides of the bumper! maybe the owner extended the lip a little and painted before in aquagrafic

From the pictures, it looks like a W211 lip but I really can't tell if I don't see it in person. Looks like it was silver carbon fiber. Very nice

Is not carbon fiber friend, this is painted in hidrographic system, search for vids in youtube, some guy here pain her airbox with this procedure and looks so good!

I called the guy with the E-Bay auction. He is the owner but knows nothing about the lip.
He said it was already installed when he purchased the car. Knows nothing about what it is or how it is installed. In other words, clueless.
I'm not wasting my time driving up there (30 min) just to talk to a car salesman.

I still think that is a W211 lip made to fit the W210. The shape looks just like it

In my case I would paint it silver. The 3M probably wouldn't hold as it's on the street. But as other stated probably wouldn't last w/driveways.
Also try to see if you can get #1 pads. Your sitting pretty high. Each car is different w/pads. weird-

I don't think you can paint the piece as is made out of rubber. That's why it is bendable and will not crack if you hit it. It really hang low and if my front is lower, which it should be instead of what it is now, I might rub it against the asphalt every time I drive in and out of my driveway.
I understand that different cars have different pad size. I have bought #2 pads to replace the fronts. Will see how it looks once I put them in.

Friend! 31 is pretty cheap and this is not my problem, my problem is the country i live. in this country we can't buy via net cause we have a govenment Money exhange control
this asholes.... and the shipping is other problem cause we have restriction to products comming from US. other words. i pay 31$ for the rubber and they don't arrive never... this is why i ask for some brother in the fórum please buy one and install it to see how it looks. Anyway, if you want one, I can bid it for you and you can pay me via paypal and I'll mail it via priority mail. Trying to help a fellow member out I think that the rubber stripe is much better and more practical then a carbon fiber lip as the CF lip looks too big and will hung too low and you know it will crack if you hit it hard on the pavement.

Yes, you are right i live in a beautiful country with completly ******* governments.. And yes.. Stupid socialist.. Venezuela. With this idiots we have not permition to make payments outside our coutry cause we have money change control.. I can't pay vía paypal. And the other problem is the shipping to my country cause i need to justify how i paid for this item.. Is almost imposible. The only way i have is, ask to some friend who travel to US to buy me one, and comes again with the lip. Aaallll this is how i ask for some guy to install it in one 99" e55 to see if i like it.. What a **** up country!! Pardon my French. Venezuela is suppose to be one of the biggest exporter of oil in the world!! What, the government took all the money from the oil export and reward themselves rich beautiful cars and luxury live styles?? I hate living in a country with no freedom to get anything. Well, like I said, I am here at this forum, just too bad I can't just mail it to you. This EZ Lip is actual pretty decent in shape and it hold up pretty well so far.

Yes... is very hard to understand how a country like this with to much Money by oil export (we have the major oil reserve "In the world") this idiots make a rich life and all of us got all this restrictions. We can't buy luxury cars (only the government people) can import luxury cars, etc, etc, etc.... is imposible explain the situation in this country
