w210 bluetooth conversion
Okay guys I have looking around and I can say that I am really confused. I have a 2000 E55 with what seems to be a factory hands free phone option. It has the wheel controls and the Command controls but there is no phone cradle. Everything I have read keeps mentioning a phone cradle in the bluetooth conversion. When I select phone from the wheel control it displays "no phone". I would like to make it where I can use my blackberry and connect to the cars hands free system. Any help will be greatly appreciated and keep in mind I am new to the world even though I have owned this car for 2 years.

Do you have the cradle for nokia phones in the arm rest?
If no -> i dont know any way to get BB connected to your car
if yes -> there are BT cradles which can be installed ... i think.

Then your car has no phone option. To retrofit the phoneoption you need to install the Phone control unit, the cradle and a lot of wires and fibrecables. you also have to change the center console.
it is possible but its a lot of work.

I have a cradle on the console and phone control unit on the navigation and steering wheel. I also have the Motorola Mercedes flip phone. You have to think....that was back in 2002. All the handphones back in the days were analog, hence these cars were equip with analog phones. The Motorola flip phone that I have will not work today even if I had it activated. Your best bet is to get yourself one of those ear Bluetooth clip with your cellphone while driving and forget about the analog set up in the car....either that or get you a new navigation unit with cellphone Bluetooth unit build in....

Commandonline replied to my email this morning. They sent me a cost and parts list. I think I will stick to speaker phone on the old blackberry and spend that money on go fast stuff. Thanks for the help

I fitted a Pioneer AVH-7550 head-unit into my E55 and it came with handsfree/bluetooth built into it. You can connect several phones, control the phones and scan your phonebooks via the touch screen monitor, and the audio from calls plays through the stereo speakers. I have the mic mounted on the drivers side A-pillar, and it works flawlessly. Could be an option for you? Very simple to install and not expensive for a top of the range stereo with the features it has. Another advantage is the unit is single-DIN, so no need for dashboard moficifations etc... Check it out, see what you think...
