What is your goal with the car? There are many solutions out there that seem to work. It those who seek more power and reliability that come to us.
Either way the hard part of this is done which is designing, manufacturing, and testing. It is a matter of putting this package together to fit within the budget for those that are in the market. Let us know how we can help. We plan on updating this thread with detailed pictures and information on power soon. We are nearing the projects completion. Thank you.

BlownV8, I think you are on to something. The intake is right on the spot where the windshield reservoir is suppose to be located. I don't like the look of the intake sucking in air within the engine bay rather then getting air from outside. That makes the engine run hot
I am not trying to knock anyone and also not trying to cause any problems but I came across this thread in the W212 forum rather disturbing after reading it.....

In terms of hot air, this is actually one of the best areas to place a filter. It is a high pressure area because cold air is trapped in the bumper dam, which ends up running to the filter.
We hope this helps.

I only speak from a customer's perspective but it not so easy to fabricate all these additional components and the prices are reasonable if you do a comparison to supercharger only kits. Plus you get a standard tune that matches the 3 litre blower. Don't underestimate the difficulty of building your own kit. Many have tried and failed or never even gotten off the ground.
It will also end up looking like a hack job compared to the OEM fit and finish of the Weistec components.

I put the 55k kit on my NA 55 a longgg time ago and did it on my own in a couple weeks working on it once in a while. Using OEM parts so I don't see how anything could could have a more OEM fit and finish Tuning has taken forever but it's making well over 600whp.

Your engine bay looks like a train wreck or at least hit by a train. Want to compare appearance to my pics?

Have you even run yet? All this talk and nothing but more rework. No time slips. I don't trust any dyno sheets as we both know they can be manipulated to read anything you want.

Have you even seen under my hood? What exactly doesn't look OEM besides the Weistec SC?

10.6 @ 132.9 over a month ago with a bad TCU and full weight. You already knew that though as you commented on it when I posted the time. That was prior to my new setup which makes alot more power. Speaking of which, what's your best time? I will run you any day any time.

After the run I drove it home just like I drove it to the track My car never broke. I decided to buy a short block with forged pistons in and was sold a junk block. Pulled it back out. Car runs and didn't break. Dunno what you're talking about Keep fishing. Go run a low 10 at over 140 and post it up. Enough of your talk. You've been saying your car will run this and that for years. Have you even been tens yet??? Keep trying to copy everything I do.

Unless you plan on dragging or tracking it, what I did to mine is plentiful for daily drive and once in a while WOT (watch out for cops...that's why I have a solo)

Love hearing things like this People become way to reliant on "experts", when you be self-reliant with a little time and effort spent learning the pro's and con's of every option available.

We have yet to install a system on the W210 chassis. As you can see from a couple members here, the parts we offer do fit the W208 model and the W203. We are also certain that it will work on the W209 as well.

+1 many cars that cheaper to mod and faster. W210 is a 4 door sedan and the only way to make fast is SC which cost more than $10K with installation. If you want a fast car, get a Corvette Z06 or the new C7.

Let us know what you get up to Strigoi
What you say makes sense from a general perspective. However, some of us have W210's because they are modern classics, or were childhood dreams (I fit into the latter category). Mine is a daily-driver passion project. Spending more money on servicing and tuning the car than it's actual worth isn't an issue. Each to their own, and I plan to be leaving Z06's and C7's at the lights once I'm through with the planned work

Well you could have installed on mine but you've lost my vote of confidence, as I outlined earlier in this thread. Customer service levels a below poor

I understand your passion. I own few 55 so I know. Currently I have CLK55, W210 and W211 parking in my garage so I know what you mean.
But these cars are Mercedes, they are suppose to be classic, fast and comfortable. If you want power and handling Corvette is the best choice. Z06 with very simple mods can run high 10's.
Good luck with your project and keep us posted.

The plan right now is a Toyota FJ Cruiser with some mods (lift, wheels/tires, bumpers, roof rack, supercharger, exhaust, etc...). I'm just going to keep the E55 as is and not dump any more money into it (late edit: might do the stereo). It's fast enough and I don't drive it that much anyway. It sees maybe 10-30 miles a week at this point.
The Intrepid is getting sold since I don't like it and the same is happening with the Durango (have had it over 11 years) since an FJ replaces what it does. I also have no need for 3 vehicles.
