::ECS Tuning:: 722.6xx Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness Spacer Kit

Click HERE to order or for more information.

Kits Starting At - $17.31*

It's no secret that the wiring harness spacer on the Mercedes 722.6xx Automatic Transmission is prone to leaks. Over time, transmission fluid will begin to find its way past the seals on the wiring harness spacer and eventually wick up the wiring harness and get into the transmission control module.

Before this failed part causes more damage than a few spots on the garage floor, replace it using ECS Tuning's Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness Spacer Kit.

This kit includes the following items:
One (1) Automatic Transmissin Wiring Harness Spacer
One (1) Quart Of Automatic Transmission Fluid (Meets MB Spec 236.14)
One (1) Transmission Dipstick Tube Filler Cap Lock Pin

*Price subject to change.

This is funny timing to see this post - I just did mine this weekend - I would recommend that every time you do a trans flush (every 30K Miles). You replace this part. It is not worth risking the extra work when the seals start to leak.

Mine leaked on the garage floor and wicked into my TCM. Spent most of my time cleaning transmission fluid. This is an easy to do low cost maintenance item as long as it does not wick into the TCM - then it becomes more work.

I would also recommend ordering a transmission dipstick to replace any lost fluid.

Interesting....

I just ordered the latest updated plug adapter from the dealer today. Is this updated design the same specification as ECS tuning's design?

Are these the same parts?

Do I need the "spacer" kit if I'm already replacing with an improved OEM part?

snakesrus,

There is nothing in this kit that was designed by ECS Tuning. If you ordered a new plug adapter from the dealership, you are getting the same part that you would be buying from us in our Genuine Mercedes-Benz kit.

I have seen a lot of confusion over the word 'spacer' being applied to this kit. It is the same part as the 'Plug Adapter' or 'Pilot Bushing'. All three terms (Plug Adapter, Pilot Bushing and Spacer) are used in the Mercedes-Benz EPC and are an acceptable term for this component.

Our kits, no matter if it is the Genuine Mercedes-Benz kit or the Aftermarket kit, include the latest design of the wiring harness spacer (plug adapter / pilot bushing). You do not need this kit if you already bought this component from the dealership, as it is the same part. Our kit simply includes a new dipstick tube lock pin and a quart of Automatic Transmission Fluid (Meets MB Spec 236.14) so that you can top off what fluid you may loose when replacing this component.
