What's a fair price for this E55?
I sent the guy a serious lowball offer based off his asking price, but I feel it was reasonable considering the mileage and salvage title. If I could get it for dirt cheap I'd probably be all over it. KBB and Edmunds both show the car being worth under $4,000 with a clean title.
I sold my 2001 with 110,000 on it for $6,000 about 6 months ago.
What do you guys think this thing is worth?

Saw that.
He sent me an email that just said "sold" and then the ad was deleted.
I emailed another guy and he just sent me pics since there were none in the listing. If you can't figure out how to take proper pictures of a car you have for sale I won't buy it.
It's a 2000 with 180,000 and a clean title. He's asking $4,500.

How much and what color? PM me if you want.
I just spent a **** ton of money buying a house and am dumping more into doing upgrades right now. Since the car would just be a toy for me I'm not looking to spend too much. The Durango would probably get sold if I buy one and I'd look into getting rid of the Fireturd (not my call, 3 of us are involved in that project but I bought it and own it).
I forgot to mention that he had just bumped the price up to $8,500 from $5,000. I've been checking CL pretty often looking for cheap E55s.

I just bought an '01 E55 AMG, 107000 miles in good condition. The KBB was $6700 to $7500. Minor bodywork needs to be done, and one of the lower front lights need to be replaced.

Here's two pics of the car he sent me. He wants $4200. Recently replaced EGR, repainted hood and new front bumper/ OEM windshield from hitting a block of wood on the freeway.

I may have to hold off now. The neighbors came by yesterday and wanted to see if I'd split the cost of having a new fence built between our houses. It needs it (rotted, boards falling off), so I'm going to have and see how much that is going to cost me now. The back fence also needs replacing so I may just have it all done at the same time so they match.
