Almost 7 years to the day it’s time to replace the CPS P0335
For me it’s easier to take the MAF and plumbing off to reach the sensor. I did notice that the new one was a tighter fit going in than the old one coming out. 30 min job.
Installed these custom www.lloydmatsstore.com Floor mats. Perfect fit, let me know what you think about the colors I picked. Chose the red stitching to match the seatbelts. Also saved 4.2lbs over my other floor mats.
Looks great!
Details on the steering wheel? Mine is starting to wear through, so I'd like to remove the original one and keep it from wearing down any further.

My original is similarly worn (gray leather coloring gone but in great shape and just needs a re-dye). But I'm now addicted to flat bottomed steering wheels since my C63 P30 came with one and I wanted one for the E55.
I picked this steering wheel up on eBay from ledermanz (https://www.ebay.com/usr/ledermanz?_...p2047675.l2559) Just search for w210/208 wheels and you'll see a couple different kinds he makes. Pretty sure he'll make full custom/whatever you want if you contact him directly. I've seen his name across the forums many times.
Quality is top notch. The one above is slightly thicker than original (which I like) and same diameter with a flat bottom.
Latest COVID project. Move HVAC controls. Insert 7 inch Kenwood Excelon Apple CarPlay receiver tied into CANBUS to retain steering wheel controls. Add 4 Focal 6 1/2 components (tweeters in top of dash where old phone speakers were by windshield. rear tweeters next to woofers in rear deck). Add a 10 inch Kicker Comp R down firing sub in spare tire well and a 5 channel Skar Amp. All hidden under truck mat with no loss in trunk space. Install a backup camera that comes on when you put it in reverse via CANBUS. Turn cigarette lighter into USB port for the headunit to run Apple CarPlay.

Did a few hundred miles road rally over the weekend with a very eclectic group of local car nerds. Car performed flawlessly, and had no problem keeping up with a bunch of little sports cars.
I don't drive the car now but I bring myself to selling it. About 6months ago I heard a horrible screech then the ac stopped working. Investigation determined the clutch locked up. Heck the date on the compressor is 1997. Replaced the ac compressor, receiver dryer, and expansion valve.
Hints:
1 you don't need to remove the fan.
2. Be careful when removing the water collector trim. They are old and brittle.
3.the lower compressor bolt may not clear the lower crossmember. You will need to lift the engine and use a mini/slim ratchet.
4. You won't get the stud out of the expansion valve just use another 10mm bolt.
It took me from 10am-5pm including evacuation, recharge and lunch.
Lots of info already out there on the forum. S210 55/manual swap, couple C55 manual swaps, and clk 320 to 500 engine/manual swap. Just do a search and you can find it very easily.
Main list of big parts were:
2007 Crossfire MT transmission (used 46k miles)
w210 manual shifter linkage. (found new old stock on UK ebay) but most folks have used Crossfire/SLK linkage and shortened.
C320 front prop shaft and flex disk
2003 C320 Clutch/pressure plate
2004 Crossfire flywheel
Crossfire MT pedal box (i tried a w203/204? pedal box first and it did not fit the w210)
Crossfire Master Cylinder and Crossfire clutch lines (these were the hardest part to find new since they don't make them any more). Custom might be easier.
If you leave the AT shifter plugged in and in P or N, the car will still start and drive but will throw CEL's due to the TCU not seeing the AT trans. But some folks have re-coded the ECU as a manual and solved that issue. I'm working on that part now.

My understanding having read most all the old posts I could find on the shocks' issue....e.g....."front PN's in back and back PN's in front" is that it was remedied some time ago.
The part numbers are now correct and the shocks go in their intended position because the valving is different for the front shocks.
I'm still curious about this as I'm getting ready to do the exact same thing...H&R Springs with the B8 Shocks. I have stock #3 pads all the way around and have been stressing about what pad numbers to run as I will be paying a indy to do the work while replacing other front and rear suspension components and I really don't want to have to pay over and over to get the correct set-up.
Did you try installing the shocks as labeled for front and rear?

front: BIL-24-062046
rear: BIL-24-062053
but when I went to go install the front shocks, the shock was noticeably shorter than the stock bilstein. So I thought about comparing it to the stock rear shock, and it matched. So the new rear b8 matched the front shock height and the new front b8 matched the rear. First I installed the shorter shock up front because that was what the part number was for... but when I got to the rear it was very clear that it was going to be too tall.
so, I just ended up swapping the front and rear and the height matched and bolted down as it should have. I drove it around the block a little bit to level it out and listen for noises, and I didn’t feel anything abnormal. It is a little frustrating to do the whole job and wonder if it’s not correct. Swapping it is easy but time consuming.

I appreciate your info....it's very helpful. Having not actually seen the shocks compared yet definitely puts me at a deficit for correct knowledge but if the front and rear shocks are that much different in length...something must be up.
So to confirm....The B8 Shock labeled as rear was clearly too long? They would not install?
Being that the B8 shocks matching those part numbers are supposed to be shorter in length than the stock shocks as they're for lowered cars it would make sense their shorter all around but if it's that obvious on the rear than maybe the mislabeling is true.
I'll definitely be ordering new #1 Front and #2 Rear pads.

But the rear matches with the front and vice versa. I looked around at some more threads and others said it only rode correctly when switched around.
I noticed the issue in the rear with the longer shock, it just didn’t seem like it was meant to go in there. Even when I pulled the control arm down it wasn’t close.

I wouldn't cut the coils, when you're on a level surface it's pretty even, but when you're on hill or uneven surface it still looks slightly dumped in the rear compared to the front. I'm getting new continentals put on the front today and fixing some rash/polishing the lips too. The continentals run bigger so they should fill the front better than the Dunlops that were on there previously.

So it looks like I will save around 30lbs per seat.
So with my new battery and seat set up, looking to drop around 80lbs. Hopefully if my boss lets me use his e63 5 spoke wheels and I get two piece rotors I can maybe get down into 3700lb range.
