need source for fan shroud clip
I need the clip that holds the overflow hose to the top of the fan shroud. The E55 clip is small. The mercedes parts diagram on all oem parts sites show a big clunky clip that is clearly not the oem part for the E55. Do you know of a source for our clip?

Got the clip. The factory clip is black. The mercedes part shipped to me was, you guessed it, white. I colored it black with a sharpie to match the black hose. Looks okay now. Installed it.
Anyway Pelican Parts said Mercedes is only supplying that part in white. I don't know why mercedes would be sending out white parts. Nothing under the hood is white. Go figure.

Yeah, i'm also wondered, why white, while black is match to everything around it,,
i can assume that MB wants you to watch-out not break that clip accidentally, especially at dark/night..!!

If you do break this clip, as I did, MB's punishment is to make you install funky white parts. Is White the new black? Is Black dye more expensive, or is white more green?
