2000 e55 miss
Have a curious issue with my 2000 e55. It's not throwing any codes, but I can feel it "missing" on accelleration, mainly in the midrange. It feels like off the line it's fine, and once the engine gets above 3-4k it doesn't miss as much. But, power definitely seems low. I've replaced the fuel and air filters, checked the plugs and MAF and all looks good, and there is no sign of rattling from the cats. I assumed if it had a miss I'd get a CEL code, but nothing. Any ideas? It's a 2000 e55 with 73k miles.

Try to disconnect the battery about 1 hour, and see if it doing this mess or not..!?!

2007 SL55 AMG
plug into star diagnostics. check for smooth engine running to find out which cylinder is firing out of range.

I would assume a bad CPS would cause the engine to die completely rather than just have a miss, am I incorrect?

Replacing "crank" sensor is little hard, but "cam" sensor is sooooooo easy..
