Anyone using a windshield sunshade?
My roommate (who has normal, plebe w210) uses one he got from walmart. I tried it this weekend..and down here in Fl... damn did it make a difference. Comfort level getting in has improved greatly, kept it cooler. Still hot, but not sweltering. I have 15 percent tint all around so that helps too. In theory prolonging the interior life as well.
My complaint is that his is VERY ill fitting. I have to like shimmy it around and lodge it in the sun visor etc. I fear that the continued use of something like this might wear on the headliner and stuff.
Has anyone found a good fitting or w210 specific sunshade??

Yes, I've been buying custom fit shades for all my cars for years. Wouldn't leave one outside without one. As you've experienced, they make a huge difference as far as temperature and help protect the interior. Multiple vendors sell them. I purchased the one for the E55 two years ago for $50.

I picked up an MB custom fit one from a forum member a few years ago. Fits perfectly and it makes a huge difference! I use sunshades in all my cars to protect the dash and leather.
