RENNtech R2 E55 AMG
Hi
I'm new here. Here's my 2000 E55.
67,000 miles. RENNtech supercharged at 55,000 miles last year.
New oils, seals, gaskets, filters, brakes, AC, Michelin Pilot Supersports.
Very competent highway cruiser. Blinding acceleration from say 35-100+mph.
Considering new suspension to complete the mechanical package.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Welcome!
Sounds like a great car - congrats!
Most folks install lowering springs, new shocks, and replace any worn bushings, end links, etc. Or, you can go with coilovers.
What kind of headlights?
Any engine pics?

Pretty cool they conserve the OEM airbox! they would looks sweet with the renntech carbon airbox (just for look cause they are F/I and the carbon box does not improve any HP this way, just for look imo) Congrats on the beast bro! how much hp at the wheels?

E55 AMG RENNtech
RENNtech says the computes to 475 to 500
My last car was a Z06 with 400 hp
It was quicker to 60 but the E55 is better over a wider powerband
And it is a wonderfully competent adult sports car
No flash, no bravado... Just surprising power
Next week I get a new headliner
I also ordered H&R sport springs and Koni shocks
It is older car and needs more maintenance but it's very unique and I I love it

Any ideas on a fair cost for painting?
I was quoted $500 per panel. Seems high.
My paint is overall 98%, just little stone chips on the front.
In the meantime I got a touch up kit from MB and did it all myself!
