2002 E55 Maybe
I was down at the dealership this morning and I was looking at some Sclasses. The dealer then told me he had one E55 left... Trying to get thoughts on what others feel about theirs! I am sure you love them but this will now become my only car. I'll then look at a winter crasher for the North East Winters.
What do you thinks a good price for this car also, since it's going to be the last year of this model... what kind of discount should I expect.
Does anyone know what the 02 production numbers are for this car?
Also, Does anyone have the command system in theirs and have they been able to Amp and Sub it??

IloveitIloveitIloveit! But I just got my first speeding ticket in it (I can probably afford a ticket every 3.5 mos / 7000 miles).
Based on my limited experience, you should pay at most a few hundred dollars over invoice.

I'd definately get the E55 AMG if they have one; but then I'm just a tad biased!<VBG>

In 2002, MBNZ only exported 550 E55 AMG's to the USA! You won't see many E55's every day!<G>
BMW on the other hand exported over 2400 M5's to the states!!

$6k and even $7k off MSRP is possible. E55's are not flying out the door. I bet it has been sitting their a while. If that dealer does not want to deal go to another and negotiate on the same car. The other dealer can buy it from under their noses at dealer cost and sell it to you.

I think my E55 is the best car in the world, for me at least. Just driving it around is a joy.

I've driven most of our AMG modes and the E55 is still my favorite.
Fast, comfortable, fast, 4 doors, fast, safe, fast.
We had a guy trade in a 928S4 for an E55 because he can "scare 3 or 4 people at a time instead of just 1".
Did I mention fast? Just do it!
P.S. E55 production is over. Whatever the dealers have in inventory is it.
