I can understand the reason they're taking as long as they are because they really are doing these as a huge favor to me. Obviously, I'm paying for them, but not anywhere near what they would ordinary cost, so I'm also not pushing, and at the same time my work schedule never seems to let up. I do have this rattling cat and hole in my muffler that I have to get off this car, so for that reason alone this project will not exceed 2 weeks.

Yup - dropping it off tonight and picking it up on Thursday! I'll be traveling out of town, but they're gonna take plenty of pics.
I'm also looking for a Brabus muffler, but I know that's impossible to find, so I might have then fabricate/replicate something similar to the slanted pipes. Yeah, I'm excited!

I am glad you turned me on to the vibrants, I did a little research on them and found mostly positive reviews. I wonder if there are any forum members who have installed them on their 210 e55

looking at this today, and discussing it with my fabricator, the only way this would work for me is to run dual mufflers. Although it would require a bit more modification on the tail end that I didn't anticipate, I wouldn't be completely opposed to it if they were an identical set, not with one being slanted and one straight. I could use one of them, if it was dual in, and I'd prefer not to put a Y- pipe in place before the muffler.

I contacted Vibrant and they don't make a dual in/dual out. shame too, because I like the reviews I've read about them...

UPDATE!!
I'm not sure this is going to work out. The sticking point is the collector on the drivers side, of course... I'll keep you guys posted on progress, but until then, here's where it stands:

The c43 is dual until after the mid pipe where it becomes a little more than 2.75". Of course I changed all that and my pipes are 3 inches.

Thanks, Fabio! I think we underestimated the size of the collectors. They're way too big to fit in the space, and it doesn't look the steering column will clear. I'm close to giving up on this project, though, and ordering a set of Kleemann's for this build.

Wow!! You pull the engine out? That's a lot of work...I might be wrong, but the last picture tells me you will have a problem with the huge collector going past the steering column on the driver's side. Unless you make a dent or somehow twist the downpipe to fit.
