All, I'm stuck in a bit of a situation regarding some new wheels and tires I picked up for my 2001 E55.
Wheels: Carlsson 2/6 18x8.5 ET35 18x10 ET30
Tires: Michelin PSS 235/40/18 265/35/18
FRONT: So doing some calculations based on offset, I had to pick up some 10mm H&R spacers for the front to clear the suspension. Also picked up appropriate length bolts to ensure a proper fit. All running smooth, no rubbing, no issues.
REAR: Based on the offset, the wheel is 17mm outward from stock, which is fine. Wheel bolts up fine, no issues. When I start driving, it sounds that something is running (or that I have tank tracks in the rear). Up on inspection, I cannot see or feel any rubbing, at all. I have double checked everything, and cannot still sort it out. Any ideas/assistance would be greatly appreciated. I know this wheelset has been used in the past by other W210 oweners, so it should work, just stuck at this point
