Mbworld noobie checking in, I purchased my beloved e55 from a member of this board about 1 year ago, been enjoying this great car ever since.. just hit 113k and its been totally reliable since the day I drove it home.
Since I purchased it, I've retuned the front grill back to chrome stock, replaced the cowels, 3M'd the headlights, got some michelen sports and new rear brakes, and it's been the most fun car I've ever owned.. Goes from 0-60 the same as it goes from 80-110.. Frickin love it..
I think the car is slightly lowered and it rides and handles great, it has developed a front knock when turning right, which I'll be addressing at next A service (3500 mi), but other than that minor issue, its been rock solid..
Im looking forward to digging into the wealth of info and experience here to keep my car running great..
