So twice now my wife has ordered floor mats for my E55 - Q6680425, which are supposed to be black with silver trim, from a Mercedes dealer. They also told her that they would have the AMG logo, but I knew they probably hadn't found a set tucked in the corner of the parts room. Twice they have come in all black. Is this the wrong PN, or have they discontinued the silver trim? I was expecting these:

Thought I'd pose this to the E55 crowd since they are what came in our cars. The label on the package even reads Floormats BLK/Silver Set, so what gives?

For future reference, the dealer finally replied. Tan, Grey and black are the only carpeted floor mats that Mercedes offers for the 210 chassis. The old silver/black and solid black part numbers will both be valid for black set.

You should be able to get new black/silver floormats that say "AMG" instead of the original ones that say "E55 AMG."

That was what they advertised, but it appears that they have discontinued all of the mats that have the AMG logo, as well as the blue, maroon or silver trimmed mats.

A couple months back, Swiftmotoring says he ordered blue trim from the dealer. I thinking that if he can get the blue ones then grays should still be obtainable.

Not really a fan of the blue in my car; the black velour actually give a really clean look now that I have them in; I was more upset that they advertised one thing then sent something else, and no one would return my calls about it. They were supposed to be my Christmas gift; my wife scoured the internet to find the black/silver AMG mats. The ones that say "AMG" are no longer manufactured for MBUSA and are only available if you have them embroidered by a third party or find some that have been hoarded somewhere; I wasn't wanting to pay the ransom people are asking for NOS that is still out there.
