You can not compare a w210 to a 211 because a w210 was designed in 90s it was made until 02 it is a 20 yr old that said there is no other car that is as fast safe and reliable as a 210 but to compare to a 211 is apples to oranges the same way you not compare a 211 to a 212 I have driven both 212 is miles above a 211 totally different 211 feels old compared to 212 the same as 210 feels compared to 211 every new model is miles above previous model new models have more gadgets and toys and are much faster stop comparing thx you

5 years ago i had a muppet run red light and total her. i did not go and buy the w211 , i went and got another w210 e55 
. the icing on the cake was that i had no insurance so lost s good amount of money there . and the funniest thing of all that sob tried to sue me after

Wow, I just saw this post. Sorry about the lost 
...another chapter closed and a new chapter begins
I have been thinking about upgrading to the e63 as I could have one a few years ago.....a seller from the next town over was selling his (original Cali car) but I had my e55 and had nothing wrong plus no car payment.
Benzokirk...good luck to you on your new e63 and hope to hear from you, pop in this forum every now and then

I had a ton of fun with the car while I had it, and another forum member has it now. I'm happy for him. It was time for me to move forward. Hopefully you'll understand that in your future, Junior.

You guys are all obviously missing the point here. The correct answer is to own both ! When your tired of getting 7MPG in traffic you drive one. When you get tired of using a telegram to contact the transmission you drive he other!
Though let's not be honest the 722.9 is not the sharpest tool in the shed, and the W210 is no Prius. Thus I feel like the genes in these cars are definitely carried through generations.
