My problem child E55 - Eats tires
I have two problems;
1) I need to get through the winter now... 100 mile RT constant 70 mph straight rd commute every day... need a line on some winter rims.... 17 x 7.5 steel or maybe a used pair of 18 x 8 AMG stock fronts that I can run on the rear?
2) Long term tire eating solution needed. While occasionally I'll push it, 99.9% of the time I'm just easing down the road... the aggressive stance of camber and toe makes it impossible to get any mileage out of the rear tires... I don't need .9 g's lateral... I'm not on a European road course... I'm just cruising 50 miles one way to work and back... Is there an aftermarket kit/linkages that allow to reduce the camber to something normal and zero/minimize the toe?
I can't be the only one that has this problem... what are all you doing about it?
Thanks....
Oh btw, fresh alignment at MB in Salt Lake... Fronts, while it does need ball joints it has 30k on the fronts and wear is normal and even... 60-70% left on them

There is no front Camber or Caster or rear Camber to change tire contact angles – it is new car industry’s best kept secret.
We saw the need therefore to re-instate from the early 90’s full/precise (and ongoing) front and rear adjustment to cater for other than showroom height conditions….
Correctly resolving costly premature edge tire, steering pull. Result of day to day commuting encountering high cambered roads, altered height through load carrying or lowering, fitting wide profile tires, worn bushings or curb knock damage.
Front and rear Kits to suit virtually every model Mercedes including AMG/Black Series, SUV’s and commercials (extra adjustment on early models back to 1968).
K-Mac is the longest established, most experienced manufacturer of adjuster kits with world’s largest range Audi to Volvo.
The unique patented design kits to suit Mercedes models are precise single wrench adjustable – accurately on vehicle under load – direct on alignment rack. Also replacing at the same time, the 4 front and 4 rear highest wearing bushings (with suspension bushings being - the 1st item to fail).
Another popular product manufactured is uprated bushings for the ‘6’ rear multi-link arms. Significantly improving rear end stability – less twitch, flex. Especially when applying power to lane change/overtake.
