I think these were fried. Next project, see if I can stop the oil cooler from leaking around the big seal where the oil housing meets the engine. I've already replaced the seal and tightened to what seems like 1000 ft-lbs but it still weeps.
Can't seem to get any that last more than 70k miles and that includes the factory mount. The drivers side top rips out of all of them and then the passenger side collapses. I probably should have looked into solid mounts.
Frankly - it's the "hydropneumatic" liquid filled design - age/mileage 70K-80K about right - Autohausaz has MB Brand mounts on "sale" at this moment like under $50 - last time I looked in the past year Hungarian if I remember - I don't know of solid mounts - frankly solid mounts would take puts too much vibration back thru the tranny/exhaust..
