Are you looking to replace your entire housing, retrofit new projectors, or just replace the stock D2S HID bulbs with newer bulbs?

Factory glass diffuser? You mean the refracted outer lens?

Low beams out

I have a 2010 C300 with hid lights. The low beams are out but the high beams are on. Do both high and low lights work off the same ballast?

Make a new thread in the correct section. Don't try to piggy back off someone else's.

I guess same thing. It has the factory d2r whatever bulbs and ballast but there is no projector just the glass that uses a diffuser style to it.

Yeah, those refracted lens are crap. Really comes down to your budget situation... You could just get better HID bulbs and call it a wrap... Maybe polish the lens to remove any hazing. Otherwise source some depo or hella aftermarket headlight replacement that have the cleae lens with projectors. Try to get ones that don't package an HID kit or bulbs as those will be crap that'll probably fail in a few months. Better to pair with a quality bulb set.

If you want the best light output get some depo projector headlights form ebay, swap out the projectors for something better (the ones they come with are trash) and put in a good HID kit. There is a DIY here . Your current HIDs are not designed to work in projector housings.
