I have an opportunity to buy a set of 19" 2006 CLS55 AMG wheels(no tires) for short money. I searched and couldn't find whether they will actually fit on my w210 e55. Seems like a few people tried but failed others seemed to make it work. Any insight would be appreciated.
What are the widths and offsets? Rear may fit but the front I doubt it. If the wheel/tire goes inward more than a 18x8 et31 it will rub on the suspension nut above the front tire.

The specs of the wheels: 8.5JX19, offset 28 Front 9.5JX19, offset 25 Rear
Front tire:
Inner - 3mm LESS
Outer - EXTEND an extra 9mm
Tire may rub on the upper suspension bolt. Also that video may not be US. Non US W210 E55's use a 235 tire up front and 265 tire in rear from factory.
So if run a 5mm spacer up front I'll be 14mm extended from stock setup but would clear the upper suspension bolt, correct? How much you think that would stick out past the fender and by running smaller tires would effect the ride? I'm scared to do it given I live in Massachusetts and the roads suck up here. Might just go back to the drawing board and stay stock wheels and do the Ksport or PB Brake coilover instead. My stance now looks like a 4x4 but the euro springs are stupid money and I would probably replace the shocks at the same time. So coilovers seemed like the best option given the price point for conventional suspension and I'll have the ability to raise and lower to find the right balance.

It's a big decision. That 245 tire and 8"/et31 up front is maxed out (IMO) and may rub on fender with a spacer. It may be some trial and error to fit a correct setup. Personally, I would never use a spacer. I've seen the bolts snap under load.

May not be worth the hassle. I like the Mono blocks just hate my stance so maybe I'll just stick to suspension upgrades and not getting bigger wheels. They don't make it easy to upgrade anything on these cars. Spoiled american problems I guess 🤣🤣🤣. I appreciate the help KEV
Just as follow up, the CLS55 wheels fit perfectly with custom lugs from Otis. As much as I love the monos, these wheels make the car look more relevant. Thanks again for all the help everyone.
