The e55 hit a milestone this morning. Did a nice pull at the 80k mark. Car still drives like it just came off the showroom. Has to be one of my favorite cars I've ever owned.
The Benz bashers will never respond to stories such as these—where high-mileage is not unusual for our cars. I’ve grown tired of these folks. Anyone else feel the same?

I think most people don't understand Mercedes. They are innovators and push the limits of everything they do. Whether its technology in the car or the engines, they are always at the fore front of the industry. Unlike Toyota that waits 15 years before they put something in there cars. This has gotten Mercedes in trouble with certain things to which people that don't understand the brand make assumptions they are cars that break often. I dont think they break anymore than any other brand but then again I have only owned 2 benzs, so wtf do I know hahahaha.
150k this month. Need minor cosmetics, roof liner but need to get rack and pinion replaced. Leaking driver's side, inde wanted $1,800 to do it. Not happening.
Best money I have spent on the car. All it does is change the pedal travel by boosting the signal. The pedal in our cars is so spongy. The sprint booster "wakes" it up all around. The only issue I have is on the higway in 5th gear it tends to downshift way to easily. Your mpg's will nose dive though.....just warning you.
