Yes I agree but I am dealing with spacers and vibrations on my E63s as well especially on the front. I removed the spacers and the car runs fine.
What hub ring are you referring to, any pictures?
I am think about going down to 245 to see if that clears the UBJ

note: those "C63 507" not set properly at the rear hub, cause "W210" rear hub lip is kinda small offset, which is (13mm),,
for that i used rear hub from "R129", cause "R129" rear hub lip is (15mm)..

Thanks

This is my 01. I picked it up last year and have been cleaning her up since.

lowered on e320 spec H&R’s
10mm H&R spacers on the rear only
painted the faded rear hat shelf black

After installing the rear 10mm spacers

No more purple fabric

Personal plates just arrived

Looks great!
How's the ride compared to stock springs? Did you change the shocks or any other suspension components?
Thanks,
DP

the Bilsteins we’re replaced a couple of years ago and the ride is decent, not much firmer than stock. The bushings are still in good shape and I had the car aligned after installing the lowering springs. The car handles great at all speeds and feels smaller in corners than it did before lowering it. Next up is a set of stickier tires as the Michelin AS4’s are nearing the wear bars. Any suggestions for good replacement tires?

General RS are great tires and prices are reasonable.
I run them on 3 of my cars.

I use Michelin Pilot Sports. Not reasonably priced, but great tires. I've had some luck with Falken tires in the past on different vehicles. Both of my sons are in the tire business, they only buy Continentals. Tire preferences are likely as varied as those with oil preferences. Mobil 1, Motul or Liqui Moly?
Thanks for the reply and the picture.
