Im I the only one.....

I noticed everyone has a w211(congrats by the way) but it feels like my w210 is outdated, long live the w210 e55.

I dont feel outdated at all...I have driven both, although we cannot match the power, we have one of the rarest benzes around..feel proud of owning one of roughly 1200 or so E55's that were imported in our year, back when production number were limited...not that the new ones arent rare, the production numbers have increased. We have a stout, solid, rare original E55, if you dont know it...everyone else does

It doesnt matter

I have a 2005 E55 and it doesnt matter what year you drive an AMG, an AMG is an AMG.

w210

In no way do I feel as if I'm driving an outdated model... in fact, I think the w210 body style will continue to withstand the passage of time.

But then again, I still love the classic lines of my M6! [so what do I know anyway?!]

I've driven both the w211 55 and the 210 and i honestly have to say that the 210 handles way better. But again the 210 interior is way out dated and 469 is more thrilling than the 210. But all in all they both have my heart at hand.

I actually prefer the style of the W210 over my W211.

Though I have a W211 AMG when I see a W210 E55 my mouth just drops in sheer awe. It is a beautiful car that has one of the best engines out there.

S4
I LOVE the 210 E55; literally one of my favorite cars; wish I could have bought one instead of the s4, but I still plan on owning one sometime in the near future

I believe (from every source I read years ago) they only imported around 500 each year from 1999 thru 2002 to US. I am not sure if the 1200 units is for the US but maybe worldwide total built.

500e

our 93 500e is still going nicely at 146,000, with still fun bursts up to 110.There was a new transmission, but the shocks are still the same. A wonderfully classy car.
