Finally joined the team - Matt's 2002 Black / Black E55 - Dark Horse

Currently, the car is in my father's possession (since he's in Vancouver, so he can drive the car, whereas I can't right now in Edmonton) and he's doing all the little fixes on the car.
I'm in touch with an upholsterer who is going to take a look at the seats and he may just redo the entire interior...I'll see what he says on pricing.
Plan is still to do a respray after fixing the little spots of rust and getting all the dents out.
Still not sure what the long term plan is for the car, until I can get my larger garage. Current garage is 24" x 24" and it'll fit two lifts, but currently sitting at 6 cars, so I've got to get another property to start building our dream house (and by dream house, I mean garage first, then the house...).
My wife fell in love with this cute city house and we're doing cosmetic renovations - we weren't sure if we were going to stay in this town long term or not, but we've grown to love the place over the last 8 months of being here.
Time for me to start hustling to get that second place bought, and get this project done!
I'll try to get some pictures when I visit the car...I mean, when I visit my parents, in the next month and send some updates! Can't wait to get back in the seat again!

Quote on a glass out respray, doing it right from one of the larger chains around here was $7500-10k, so I may go back to my old guy and see what he'll quote me. He did a colour change, glass out respray on my 911 Carrera and it was 10k, but it was also a colour change...so we'll see....

Car is doing well! Pulls strong, but my dad noticed a slight power steering drip on the garage floor - so we're going to have to figure out why that is, since I just did a pump replacement some months ago. He said it's common that an O-ring my accidentally get crimped/squished during install which could cause a drip...
So - fingers crossed it's that and not something more major!
Otherwise, ran it probably 120 miles over the course of my trip and it ran flawlessly. These are amazing cars.
