W210 '99 e55 differences vs. '00+ e55
Hi,
I'm interested in possibly purchasing a '99 E55. I understand the main differences are the front clip of the car (hood, grill, and bumper). ARe there any other differences? Would it be possible to convert the front clip to a '00+ front clip? If so, what is involved? (please say JUST: hood, grill, bumper, and fenders) :p
Anyhow, what do you guys suppose the value is on a theft recovery (salvaged) '99 E55 with approximately 10k on it?
Also, since the car is no longer under warranty, do you know if it would qualify for all MB recalls still (I think I read there's a tranny recall on the car correct?)
Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
