Scorchie speaks gospel. The rolltop is really pretty and everyone comments on it when they first see the interior. But you better have a small ulnar bone and not be too restless to make the console comfortable. Luckily we don't have the choice between attractive and fairly functional vs. functional and fairly attractive, because it would be a tough one.

Thats true. I do think the rolltop is nice, but then again, aren't the cupholders removable? I don't want to have to take out my cupholders every time I want to put something in my center console...Plus I LOVE the split console design where the top opens like barn doors and theres another compartment underneath. Really sleek and stylish. Then again, it IS just a console. Anyway, for those of you who are curious, I live in Beverly Hills. If this goes down (hopefully soon) it will most likely be somewhere on Sepulvida Blvd. probably by Mountaingate Way right by the 405 exit @ Sunset. Whoever would like to join is more than welcome. I will, however, make sure to get it on film for those of you who will not be able to make it. If he's on a bottle I will still race him but for no $$. If he's chipped, I'll race him for whatever cash he's got. I'll be sure to take a walkaround of his car before anything happens, and he mine. Either way, it's in the bag. I'm nearly 100% positive that he isn't spraying and theres a chance that he doesn't even have a chip yet. Bottom line is, he's been talkin smack and now thats just what he's gonna get
Not only will I rob him of his dignity, I will make him sorry he ever even stepped up.

I've raced a C32 a few months ago and the E55 starts pulling pretty much around 15-20mph. Time seems so slow when you race, but it wasn't a "walk away", and it wasn't really close. It was as soon as we both had traction at around 15-20mph, then the E55 just kept going while the C32 just started to drift back. I would say by 80 mph, he was about 5 car lengths maybe 7, can't really tell. Mine is bone stock.

See, I'm glad you can say that. The C55 is pretty much my next favorite 55 series AMG after the E55. I love that car. But the fact that this guy can talk all this crap about how his car is so much better and faster than mine really sucks. You're the kind of owner every C55 should have

I traded a C55 in on an E55. With both cars stock, the race is over in the first two seconds. The E55 comes on so much faster. The C55 is exciting and fast. The E55 is just the bigger fish that eats that exciting one with a side of fava beans and a glass of Chianti.

I'd laugh my A$$ off if the kid had an S/C or nitrous or both and walked all over your E55. I'm sorry but talking all tough on the net about streetracing and taking some chump for $5000 is so 2001, Vin.

I'm sorry to dissappoint "Zorro". I didn't mean in any way to be sooo 2001. I mean shucks, at LEAST I could have been 2002 right? Anyway, I don't know what you guys have up in Canada but statistically speaking, the C55 is not as capable as the E55 when it comes to straight-line performance. That being said, having some kid walking around talking **** behind my back will not stand. Even if I do have to rip the "chump" for $5000, I'll do it, because he's the moron and I'm the a$$ hole and thats the way it is. So, given that I have full right to walk all over this punk, where do your useless comments come into play? If you want my advice, keep your thoughts to yourself and practice your picture poses a little more (you're not a superhero) because your avatar needs to change. Thanks for playing and if you'd like to get shut down again...PM me any time.

For those of you who are stuck in the year 2001 with me...I have just arrived from my vacation and I will be riding this kid's *** to show himself until he does. I will, without a doubt, give forward notice on the forum to those of you who are interested and I will also make sure to film everything. Time for the fun to start... :v

Why thank you for your insightful input, I had no idea that street racing was dangerous... If you weren't so hasty to jump to conclusions, you would notice that I said I would race at Sepulvida Blvd. and Mountaingate Way. Mountaingate Way being a PRIVATE road to the Mountaingate housing community which can easily be blocked off by residents or even local security. I am more than aware that street racing is a very dangerous act. I mean come on...I may be very 2001 but I'm not stoooopid Oh, and on a side note, if you are going to comment on my maturity, I wouldn't use the word "Gay" as a derogatory term. Last person I heard use that word in such a context was 15 years old.

Yo, let us know the exact time and date. My bro (SillyEnt) and his bad *** Capri Blue 05 E55 will represent. I will sit my E500 home until one day when I Kleemanize it.

Sounds good. It'll be hilarious to have this whole crew of E55ers out there. This kid will **** his pants. We might as well organize a SoCal meet while we're at it...
