2001 E55 kn filter

Anyone had any experience with these filters on the 2001 E55? What sort of difference did you notice/note?

Didn't notice any seat-of-the-pants improvement . . . maybe 1-3 hp on a dyno . . . If nothing else, I'll never have to buy filters from Mercedes again.

Can't say that I noticed a difference either but my timing was off on manual shifting for a while after making the change. I seemed to hit the rev limiter in first just a split second sooner. I've adjusted now but still hit it occassionally.

Maybe it revs quicker? Maybe slow eye to hand?

I bought a K&N Filter on my 1999 C280 and I notice a change. When I wanna pass a car or beat the light before it turns Red, I notice the acceleration responds is quicker, so it gives it a little more horsepower like 2-3HP around there.
