Slow Upshifts
I am guessing that MB has intentionally "slowed" full throttle upshifts to protect the tranny from all that torque. Does anyone else notice the lack of "crispness" in full throttle high-rev upshifts?
Do any of the tuners firm up the shifts as part of their ECU reprogramming? I bet that there is at least a tenth to be gained in the quarter if the motor stays on boil during shifts.

I am curious about this as well. I am hoping one of the tuner companies have an upgrade to the ECU for this problem. For all of the power that we have it would be nice to have the tranny hit a harder.

that'd be great. Apparently, this is the only way an M5 can keep up with an E55, 1st to 2nd gear shift. E55 wins in 1st, but M5 gains ground with a lightning shift
