2002 E55 AMG
Regular is now $1.09/L CAN which about $4.13/gal CAN. So that works out to $3.30/gal USD for regular! :o

That stuff posted by X72 was the worst bunch of paranoid, racist babble I've ever read on this forum. Nice use of the Chinese and Canadians as strawmen enemies. I personally don't care too much for gas prices, I think that it'll motivate a switch to more sensible vehicles in general (like it's done for us). I would still much prefer an E55 to an Escalade though =)

We're paying about 0.90 / litre which is blah blah per gallon American, probably a lot more than anywhere in the US. Our gasprices are listed as XX.X cents, so a lot of places around here are now getting 4 digit signs for the inevitable. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for the low-sulphur diesel, just like they have in Europe!

Real Cars
We are at the $2.89+ mark in downtown Chicago, $2.79-$2.84 in the suburbs.

It doesn't bother me ALL that much, what bothers me is the helplessness I feel as a consumer that OPEC can just keep raising prices due to demand and there's really nothing we can do about it. A capitalistic monopoly at it's finest I suppose.

It was time to drill in Alaska 5 years ago, it will take 10 years from the time we start drilling until we get oil. BTW 80% of Alaska residents are in favor of the drilling. Wolf

Contact Phillips66/76 or Texaco. They still sell 100 at the pump in some places but do not list them on their websites anymore.

You can mix any brand of automitive gasoline without a problem. If you have trouble finding a reliable source of high octane, look at adding pure toluene to the mix. After all, it is already a gasoline component (aromatic) and is what most street legal aftermarket octane boosters are made from. Not convenient but it works perfectly. Typical pump gas has 2-10% toluene and 76 100 octane has up to 25%. California law limits total aromatics to 35%. One gallon of fuel grade toluene mixed with 15 gallons of 91 "should" provide a 2 point increase. I say should becasue if the gas you start with already has a high concentration of toluene, you won't see this big of a pop. I haven't verified it, but I've been told that gasohol (gas with up to 10% alcohol) responds very well to the addition of toluene becasue it contains very little to begin with.

the closet tree hugger in me doesnt mind paying the fuel, although it hurts the wallet. i hope it puts a curb to those soccer mom SUVs who only block my damn view on the highways and love parking next to my ride even though i park it in BFE

Premium is from 2.55 - 2.87 here in Denver.

The problem is the government, and damn stock market, that jumps up and down at it's own will.
F----- king of some eastern ****hole as much as sneezes we got gas going up.
Some full threatens to someone, we got gas going up again. FOR NO REAL REASON!

And that bull**** about lack of storage and refining facilities????
Why the f---- is that?? There is bunch of unused space in the middle of nowhere, where you can build that.
Stop doing stupid things like: feeding damn Africa (who needs them? Let the nature do the work, supply them condoms if you want to help. Or send them peanuts, there are more peanuts on usa that can anyone handle).
They spent HUGE amount of money helping 3d world countries?? WHYY???
Damn so called national security - with cops that bad, what national security are you talking about?? No matter how many computer technology you introduce, while you have retards working for cops and fbi - you will never establish it.
There is A LOT OF bull**** like that.
Spend these money on refineries and storage, make your country safer, stronger, nicer.
F--- this Iraq already!!! Finish it up, and let's start pumping, who needs this theatre performance with democracy. Pay each Iraqi 1% from profits, spread it all over them, THERE WILL BE NO RESISTANCE WHATSOEVER!!!!!
How stupid can president and all those damn old fools advisers be?

I'm no American but I love this country. It is anyway nice, but why not make it nicer? When all this damn stupidity ends??
.......I don't know, makes me really angry sometime to see all that morons running such a beautiful place.

If gas prices will continue to go up, soon USA will have a crisis.
There will be a LOT of thirsty SUV's for sale - Tahoes for 500$ e.t.c.
There will be no place to throw them away or recycle.
