Hi Folks,

I finally placed my order for my 2006 E55 (see signature). It is actually the same car I ordered 8 months ago but I had to cancel my first order (job-relocation to Europe)

Hopefully, it will work out this time

The only difference so far is that it will be a MY2006 instead of 2005. Hopefully, they don't discontinue any options, but according to the 2006 E350, they won't :p

Mercedes-Benz of Tampa had a few E55s in stock and we could test-drive a pre-owned one. Now there is no doubt that I picked the right one..

For the love of god dont get the Sirius installed from the factory.. I cringe everytime I see that black zit on the trunk of new benz!

Well, how will the Satellite receiver be installed when I get it dealer-installed?

In september, delivery-time should be avbout 6 months. My dealer told me that every E55 ordered from now would be a MY06 already. Don't know for sure if that's true......

Hi, I already saw your pics "with your wify", and I must tell you that you are the first one I met on this forum who has the designo black - looks really hot! I ordered this color, too, because I like the contrast (dark outside, lighter inside).
