What does it take to get in on the autocross? I had the bike out wednesday, it was empty, hopefully it'll be the same tonight. I might have to come check out your setup.

D,

Did you ever get anywhere with the MT drag slicks or other?

I gave up when we started hearing stories of 55's leaving read ends and trannys at the starting line. It finally sunk in when someone said "it's OVER 4000lbs you guys, and you are launching it like a pro stock"

I am going to run Drag Radials and call it quits at that. I just couldn't take the embarrassment of pushing the 55 off the starting line....THEN hoping someone could come out to tow it away before everyone got wasted and started eye'ing it like drunken Pirates at a poor lass"

Just my local track too...last time I went to check it out... someone said I had a "purdy mouth".

To autocross you only need a safe car (nothing loose anywhere in the vehicle) and a helmet.

JackPro, I think 11.65 is maxed out. Weather has warmed up down here so 11.7's to 11.9's will be best case scenario.

The slick thing just seemed too cumbersome and too tough on the drivetrain.

I made about 10 passes last night then got bored. Longest wait to run was about a minute. Would've been good practice
