E55 RUSS

Hi everybody...

I am in process of buying low millage 2003 E55 for Germany...


Spoke with Kleemann and have 2 tuning options I am thinking btw:


1.Kleemann Stage 1 520 HP and 60 % LSD 5400 with instrallation (7000US)

2.Kleeamnn Stage 2 560 HP for 6500 EURO (8200US)


The thing is with LSD Kleemanns says E55 0-100 (0-62) losses up to 0.3 secs
so4.4-4.5 to 62 (stock 4.7) + extra 35 HP so will be good for 4,4-4.3...

and stage 2 but without LSD should get the same numbers as well, will loose time getting traction...with 780torgues...

...but extra 1200...some money that could spent on new Exhaust...I thinking of putting 65 or 70mm X-pipe with stock mufflers...200 US and Lorinser roof, trunk lid and front grill...

So what do you think mid range should be more impressive with stage 2 but from start in 1/4 will spin too much...

Never driven new e55 before, so what you think is best...

hey m5, glad to meet you. its funny, when i saw your location i read your post in a cheesy russin accent. well.....it was funny to me. anyway, more power=more fun, plain and simple. go with the max you can afford and of course traction is an issue so if you can swing it get the lsd and stage 2 or just get drag radials and stage 2 and wear the s*** out of some tires quick! welcome aboard. Stage 2 is a must have M5. You will regret not spending the money.

Stock e55 and stage 2 are night and day when compared.

Stage 2 with LSD....you'll be glad you did.



****ONLY THING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER.....You are then going to be putting out more heat than a jet engine....you will have cooling issues (car will run hot enough to take HP away)

I had Kleemann install just the high flow water pump and I can run the car as hard as I want and have NO reduction in power...without radiator, I picked up no INCREASE in power....but car is rock solid. See if they can throw one in along with the mods....forgot bout that.

Kleemanns did not tell me about Water pump...

Its not availible in their Tuning Stages...

Will ask them about on Monday - how much was that water Pump???

Yes with discount they told me is best to get stage 2 with LSD for 8900 EURO about 10.5g's...a bit much for my budget...


So know will consider K2 kit ...

I am also thinking about this Crazy Brabus Exhaust with 6 pipes...Anyone has this installed YEt???

and Brabus offer shorter rear axle with LSD...Can anyone expailn what will shorter rear axle will do and what is Brabus rear lock up ratio...thier K8 kit 530 Hp does 0-62 in 4,3 sec and 0-124 (200km) in 13.6 secs...

Carllson offer LSD as well I waiting on some info from them...

Aslo went MKB site thier stage 1 is 540 HP with just a Chip and Air intake+ thier shorter transmission gear ratios....but as they quote in does 0-62 in 4.5...

Yes of course I speak Russian...

To be honest with you...M5 was a great car and New one even better...

I would say M5 is a **** box, if put a blower it will E55 a life...There are 2 guys in this world as I know run 1000HP...and couple have over 500 -600 HPs...In fact it very capable car even stock, I used to kick 210 E55 and time...One time even runned with Kleemanns 543 HP beast of course he beat me...Handling of BMWs have alway been better...More feel at the wheel and so on...

But its time to move on E55 is my choice NOW...I need more POWER...And will looks forward to go for 620 HP+ as time goes by...Will see...

I am not brand Loyalist I like Mercs, Audis and BMWs...
