What boners. I saw an S430 "AMG" the other day with a V8 Kompressor badge, at about a 12 degre angle...
Whats worse- his fake AMG wheels were on BACKWARDS - staggered, but the 9.5s were in the front! haha was the funniest thing I've ever seen. I laughed out loud at him..
Such a sad world

Does T/W/S have a website? I am in the market for some wheels for an E55. BTW are you/have you sold your wheels off your SL55 yet?
Thanks.

TWS's website is:

It sucks... their shop is a mess... but they get great pricing. Ask for SANDER.

2002 MB E55 AMG
Ran into a 73 year old guy the other day driving a:
1987 E420 AMG
Silver ... body kit panels. AMG wheels.
Apparently ... that's the real deal. One of the *old* AMG's, right? His comment was "it's a hell of a car for a 73 y.o. guy!"

As far as I know, the models weren't renamed until 1993 when AMG and MB signed a deal to jointly produce the C36, followed by the E50 and the C43. I'm pretty sure this was done as a way to differentiate them from the stock versions of the same cars.
