haha your funny
.... cant accept it huh?
I think all cars have a few factor defected problems, not to mention the occasional e55 breaks that all of a sudden stop working, giving the driver his only option to come to a rolling stop, luckly they have been on open free ways...
peter B give it up and stop degrading the M5 to make your self feel better

hold on here...first off there is no evidence of this and as posted its a rumor as of now could be you with the m5board account posting this for all we know.
second off sports are different from cars... of course i would root for one team because i want them to win(say a superbowl). A rivalry of cars dosn't involve winning anything, if it was forumla 1 racing maybe I would undertand you hatred towarda bmw, but the m5 is a vehicle and you talk so much crap about it as if it has seriously damaged your life. Just shows your stupididty Sir. I agree with clkcadet, and have respect for both cars.

If you read into that thread, my favorite quote is "useless fulmination". Spoken just like a true beemerite. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'm just kiddin'. Beemers are great cars.
Re: the quote, how many of us had to hit dictionary dot com?

2005 E55 Delivered 01/07/05
This doesn't surprize me one bit comming from BMW. I was in Munich for serveral months back in 1999 when the E39 M5 first came out( remember that car came out a year in Europe before it was out in the states). The German customers where blowing gearboxes and clutches left and right. I know this first hand since a very good friend of mine is a petrol tank engineer for BMW AG, Munich. I trust his information.
BMW almost always has trouble when they first come out with a new M car. Remember the 2001 E46 M3 engine disasters.
We shouldn't be asking how fast the new M5 is just yet, we really should be asking can it hold together in one piece??? :p
