'04/'05 Console ?
Does anyone know if the early build (or any for that matter) '05's come with the same center consoles as the '03/'04 models? I prefer the look of the earlier consoles to the 'updated' version in the current build cars. Thanks for any info.

Ive noticed sale ads for what are suppose to be '05's with the 'old' center console. I just wish my car would show up, the wait is getting old....then I wouldnt have to worry about it lol

The new one, in my opinion, is totally uncomfortable. I am considering not getting another E-class until they fix it. It kills my elbow when I rest my arm on it. I am hoping they will change it, or else I will keep my current E55 and just get an CLS because the arm rest is more comfortable.

The old one is much nicer looking, but it sometimes opens by itself when I rest my elbow on it. To open the top section, you press on the piece very close to the edge where your elbow would rest normally. It can be very annoying.
