It will increase no matter what just because of the currency rates. MB is having a hard time now with US pricing because of the euro strength.

The market sets the price...
One fact of sales, regardless of the products themselves, is that the market sets the price (and not foreign exchange). Consider an example where the dollar craters even further relative to the euro. Will MB raise the price a like amount? Not unless they want to see their sales crater as well. On the flip side, if the dollar rallies against the euro, you think they'll drop the price? Not likely.
In the case of the new E63, they'll raise the price because the market will preceive higher value. And if their market research is accurate, the price increase will be just enough to keep the supply / demand ratio at the desired level.
The bottom line is that they have to set the price so that they sell enough products to cover their costs and make some money. Otherwise, they won't be around. Make sense?

the price will probably reflect the usually year to year increase. Which is modest and around 1.5 to 3% (my guess). Don't use the CLS price as a barometer because it is classified as a coupe and MBZ always charges more for the same chassis Coupe version.
