I am mainly looking for South Florida people…

Where did you have it installed? Would you have them do work on your car again?
Have a web site or phone # for them? PM me if you can not post it.

I would normally send it to Ai in NYC, but I do not have the time to send this car up there, before I have to drive it cross country.

Thanks!

I sent mine to Ai because I feel they are the best. My local dealer sold the SLR on the floor and that owner saw my install and is sending his car up to NY.

My MB dealer installed my Escort SRX here in Jax on my E55. No problems, works great. What's the big deal - am I missing something? Why would you want to send your car all the way to NY to get one of these things installed?

Your system is etched right into your stock rear view mirror (including K40 jammer). Very impressive and integrated into your car. Not aware of to many folks in the US that so this.

All the MB dealers in my area were just amazed after seeing the installation.

Thanks for the picture!

I may have to send a whole truck load of my cars up to Ai…
I would like to give the business to a local place, but if no one can match Ai’s work…

Where does the audible sound come though?

Etched rear view mirrors with radar
AI Design sells these etched mirrors and respective radar ready to roll and will ship it to you. Check their website at http://www.aidesign.com/ then Click on SHOP, then click on AI Design Rear View Mirror. They don't show the E55 but I am sure if you call Matt 914-779-9000 he can take care of you.

Do you have or could you get a photo of where the front mount is?
Thanks!

I am out of town on business until next week. When I get back I will check. When you say front mount, are you asking about how the K40 jammer is mounted in the front?

I am thinking about installing one, my self, on my XJR…anyone have any idea if mounting the unit that is normally on the front license plate bracket, behind the mesh grill would interfere with its ability to properly “defuse” laser?

Depending on how the install goes on the Jag, I will do one on the E55 and a few others...
